The Judo Podcast- Episode 21 “The Importance of Technique”
In this episode, Rafael Lovato, Jr., who was recently the second non Brazilian to win the World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championships, talks about his recent training in judo. Lovato Jr. has won other titles this year, including the Pan Ams, the Brazilian National Championships, and the European Championships. He discusses the importance of technique, and what has been easy for him to trasition to in judo, and what difficulties he has had in the transition. He has entered a couple judo tournaments and plans on competing in the Dallas Invitational this November, however, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu still remains his first love, and priority.
