Upcoming Interview with World BJJ Champion Rafael Lovato, Jr.
Next Wednesday we will be recording an interview with Rafael Lovato Jr., who just won the World BJJ Championships in the super heavy division. He is only the second American to win, following BJ Penn. Rafael is cross training in judo, so if you have any questions for him, please comment to this post and we will get to them on the show. Below is an interview after his win from graciemag.com, and we are looking forward to having him on the show.

You are the second American to win the Mundials. Congratulations on that accomplishment! I know that you have been able to squeeze a small amount of judo training into your schedule. Though I am sure that Judo was not responsible for your victory, I would like to ask a few questions about it.
1. What aspects of Judo have been the most natural for you to adapt, adjust, or integrate? And, have there been others that you simply cannot seem to integrate (for whatever reason) or think will not integrate well for you personally or to somebody whose main focus is BJJ?
2. We all know that in both BJJ and Judo it is the smallest parts of a technique, or style, that make things work for any particular person. Do you mind sharing what small nuances you have to focus on in your game or when learning something in Judo?
Thanks, and congratulations again!
