Following a road traffic accident this morning, Crown Street on North Campus was temporarily closed to vehicles. The road has now been reopened.

Our final Kabin prep for what will be Kumo's first trip to Europe since Niamh and Eden fought in Rotterdam back in 2019. Neither of our 2 fighters have been very active on the circuit indeed this will be Eden and Reece's first competition of the year and events in Europe usually are tough. However, this club has for 30 years fought internationally and despite our little jaunt across the pond last year (which I cannot really count I guess) it is vital to pick up where we left off prior to Covid/Brexit. It will also be wonderful to meet up again with a lifelong friend for the first time in 5 yea

On the 18th of May, my lovely mother will be walking 20 miles in aid of our Judo club. All Funds raised will go straight into the club and will hopefully be used towards a new dojo in the not-so-distant future. We have teamed up with senior examiner & north west area secretary Dave Duffy to pilot the recruitment of a senior examiner to award promotion points at a BJA Registered Level 3 Event.
